Board of Directors

From The List: "To move towards incorporation, we will need a board of directors. A Board of Directors is 5-8 people that meet 4 - 6 times a year, for 6-8 hours (a day). They review what the group is up to as a whole, and advise/review/grow. I think this meeting should be followed by a party, but that's just my$0.02. I'd say 2-3 of the people should be non Hive members who have an outside view on things. Elected every other year, or when someone steps down."

Jonathan D. Simpson

Chris Thompson

Chris built his career thanks to Hive76 from his first steps using the infamous Makerbot 3DPO, to exploration into many other digital fabrication tools such as laser cutting and CNC milling. After a challenging but educational stint at fabrication shop NextՏad, Chris landed a career position as Resource Manager for the College of Architecture and the Built Environment at Philadelphia University. Through Chris, Hive76 has received the donation of a vinyl cutter, RepRap 3D printer, and other stuff he can't remember right now.
