Greetings and salutations. My name is Daniel, but the collective "you" can call me Dan. I have been with Hive since pretty much the beginning and have contributed things such as: our famous "bulb" logo, I host a version of the Philadelphia Linux Users Group (PLUG) monthly, and I host the Philadelphia Robotics Meetup Group monthly. Though I haven't contributed much lately, so I'd like to change that by taking on a job in a management position. My main interests include: embedded system programming, web development, and computer graphics. |

Nominees Introduction and info
This section is for nominees to explain why they want a position, what they want to do in that position, and what they will bring to Hive as an officer.
Far McKon for Instigator
Hey, I'm Far. I've been involved in Hive since day -3, and I've spent a lot of time working on and for the space. I feel there is still work to do in getting Hive76 running smoothly as a organization I would like to stick around as Instigator for 1 or 2 more terms in order to get those things figured out. As Instigator, I plan to:
- Expand Hive to have 20+ members
- File for 501(c)3 status
- Get 3 Hive76 group projects running
- Get *every member* involved in some way on a Hive project or class in the next 6 months
- Throw one huge event or party that makes the papers and 'blogs
Adam K. for CTO
As the current CTO, I've made significant technical contributions to the group, including the Asterisk-based phone system for the front door, a customized web store for tracking product and membership sales, and successfully maintained all of the hive76 domain systems, including email, blog, and google apps. I'm considerably active in our current IRC channel and on the google discussion boards allowing direct communication for current and potential members. I also participate in many management-type activities outside my specific CTO duties, including financial planning and general process improvement. I also like to robots and dinosaurs.
Chris Thompson
